Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Make your account more secure with two-factor authentication (2FA). Once enabled, you will be asked to enter a unique code in addition to your password every time you log in. This unique code is generated automatically on your authenticator app of choice.

All accounts require two-factor authentication as of October 1st, 2023. Protect your account today.

Follow the steps below to activate 2FA:

  1. Toggle the two-factor authentication setting to the on position
PLEASE NOTE: 2FA is not compatible with Facebook Login. If that's what you use to log in to Bandsintown Pro, you must activate Email Login first by specifying an email and a password before continuing.

  2. Use your preferred authenticator app, or download one from Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo, or Authy to scan the QR code displayed.

  3. Enter the unique code provided by your authenticator app

Going forward, whenever you log in to Bandsintown Pro, you will need to enter your password and the unique code from your authenticator app. This ensures no one else but you can access your account.

Manage your team

The Team Management feature allows you to invite your team to collaborate on venue pages on Bandsintown Pro.

Add and remove users of any venue page you manage, get alerted when someone requests management access, and control each manager’s access levels.

Add a new team member

Only Admins on a venue page can add new members.

From your venue page, click on the Settings tab, then click on either the + Invite or Bulk Invite buttons, fill in the form(s), select the appropriate access level(s), then submit.

Each person invited will receive an invitation email with a link directing them to either create a new Bandsintown Pro account or login.

Approve requests to join a team you manage

Only Admins on a venue page can accept new requests.

From your venue page, click on the Settings tab.

If there are pending requests to join your venue team, you’ll see them at the top of the page under Requests and can choose to Approve or Deny each one.

The change will be effective immediately, and the new team member as well as any other Admins will be notified of this change by email.

Change a team member's access level

Only Admins on a venue page can change a member’s access level.

From your Bandsintown Pro for Venues Settings page, look for the person whose access level you wish to change, click on the three dots at the end of the row, select Edit, make the desired changes, and submit.

The change will be effective immediately, and the team member as well as any other Admins will be notified of this change by email.
